Active Guard Patrol
Our active guard patrol services have been specially tailored to meet the needs of healthcare facilities. Our advanced training and extensive experience in securing a multitude of healthcare sites, makes us the best and only option when considering security services for your healthcare facility. When conducting duties on healthcare sites, our guards are trained to recognize and be sensitive to all issues and challenges these sites may contain. Our patrols consist of, but are not limited to: patrolling the entire interior and exterior of the site, checking in with all nursing stations and work stations to ensure staff safety, ensuring all visitors abide by site rules and regulations, and immediate emergency communication and response to emergency situations. In addition, all departments have full availability and contact with the guard at all times!
Patient Watch
In many cases, some patients require additional one-on-one supervision for a variety of reasons. Our guards are trained to be sensitive to all situations and issues they may encounter while conducting a one-on-one watch. In fact, our “one-on-one” services are held in such high regard, that we have received multiple letters from private family members of these patients, thanking this company for our confidentiality, compassion, and professionalism when dealing with their distressed family member!
In today’s society it is an unfortunate reality that some individuals end up in a healthcare facility due to a suicide attempt or threat. Our guards specialize in securing their patient watch environment to ensure the safety of such patients during their stay. We are very sensitive to the privacy and safety of these individuals. We have devised specialized policies and procedures to effectively deal with these sensitive situations.
Patient and Staff Escorts
It is often the case that a patient is required to, or has a need to leave the healthcare facility, but require assistance to do so to conduct personal business, or to receive additional services that may not be offered on site. We have, on many occasions, escorted these patients to ensure their safety while off site. This service has facilitated very specific needs a patient may not have had the opportunity to take advantage of if we had not offered this service! We have also on occasion, escorted hospital staff to potentially volatile areas, such as jail cells to administer medication to individuals in need.
Patient Transfers
It is often the case that a potentially volatile patient must be transferred to a more “appropriate” facility to ensure they receive the best care possible. These transfers can be potentially dangerous to all staff involved in the transfer, including the ambulance service conducting the transfer. Due to the high potential for safety concerns on these transfers, we have devised transfer specific services to meet these needs. We cover you and your staff from point-A to point-B and back to point-A safely and efficiently! In fact, the furthest we have escorted a patient is from Terrace, BC, to Edmonton, AB with flawless success!
Advanced Conflict Resolution Tactics
Our guards are highly trained to recognize potential signs of aggression and conflict, related to health care services. Due to the multitude of situations that healthcare facilities may deal with, it is crucial that your security service is capable of handling any and all potential incidents that may arise.
